New Cadet Staff (27 Apr 00)
With the departure of C/2d Lt Rosales, C/1st Lt Crossfield was once
again chosen to lead the squadron as Cadet Commander. Assisting him will be C/MSgt
Ferguson as Cadet Deputy Commander, C/TSgt James Hoskins as First Sergeant, and other
cadets in line and support staff positions. The current cadet staff will serve until
sometime in mid-April, when Crossfield departs Squadron 112 to attend UC Irvine and
Squadron 88.

New Cadet Staff Term (08 Jan 00)
Squadron 112's new cadet staff term began on Thursday, 06 Jan 00 with
the unit's first meeting during the new year. C/2d Lt Wendy Rosales -- a COBC
graduate and two-time Encampment staff member -- was chosen by the Deputy Commander for
Cadets 2d Lt Teresa Soto. Rosales then picked the rest of her cadet staff. One
of her first acts as Cadet Commander was to add a second flight to the unit, which had --
until then -- only a single cadet flight. In this way, the cadets can receive more
individualized training from their flight staff, and more cadet NCOs can gain line staff
experience. The flights' instructors will use classes from the Instructional
Training System, a rotating leadership training schedule designed specifically for
Squadron 112. Rosales also plans to continue to train her cadet staff grow to meet
the demands of the future, and to increase attendance at squadron meetings and activities.
